These terms and conditions govern both the use of the website www.sescopinya.com and the information relating to the products and services provided at the physical store of its owner:

2. Purpose and acceptance
Accessing and browsing the website implies the full acceptance of these terms. The website is strictly informative and presents the company: no sales are made through the Internet. All purchases are made in person at the physical store.
Sescopinya reserves the right to modify at any time the presentation, configuration and contents of the website, as well as to temporarily or permanently suspend the services provided through it, without prior notice.
3. Activity
Sescopinya is a jewellery and watchmaking shop with a physical store in Maó (Menorca), dedicated since 1967 to the in-store sale of jewellery and watches, as well as to personalised advice, warranty management, battery replacement, repairs and on-site workshop services.
4. Consumer information
In accordance with Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (Consolidated Text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users), the store provides customers, prior to purchase, with clear and truthful information about the essential characteristics of each product, its final price including all applicable taxes and, where appropriate, any additional charges.
The prices displayed in the store include VAT and any other applicable taxes. Customers may at any time request further information about a product before purchasing it.
5. Payment methods in store
The usual payment methods are accepted at the store: cash (within legal limits) and bank card. No remote payments are made through the website.
6. Invoice and receipt
After each purchase, the customer is given the corresponding sales receipt. Upon request, a nominal invoice may be issued; the customer must provide the necessary tax details at the time of purchase or subsequently within the legally established deadlines.
7. Legal guarantee on products
Products purchased at our store are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity set out in Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, as amended by Law 7/2021. This guarantee covers lack of conformity occurring within three (3) years from the delivery of the product, under the terms and scope provided by the regulations.
To exercise the guarantee, the customer must keep and present the purchase receipt or invoice. Repairs covered by the legal guarantee are carried out free of charge for the consumer, as provided by law.
Additional commercial warranties offered by each brand’s manufacturer complement the legal guarantee and are governed by their own conditions, which will be delivered to the customer along with the product where applicable.
8. Returns and exchanges
For purchases made in person at the store, the consumer is not entitled to a legal right of withdrawal, as this right applies only to distance contracts or contracts concluded outside the business premises. Notwithstanding the above, Sescopinya may, on a commercial and voluntary basis, offer specific exchange or return conditions, which will be communicated to the customer at the time of purchase.
Personalised, engraved, custom-fitted or hygienic products (earrings, modified rings, etc.) are excluded from any exchange or return, except in the case of a duly verified manufacturing defect, in accordance with applicable regulations.
9. Workshop and repair service
Repairs and workshop services are estimated in advance. After the product is handed in at the store, the customer receives a receipt describing the product and the estimated repair time.
Sescopinya will keep the item with the utmost care for the time required to carry out the repair or requested service. Collection deadlines for repaired items are communicated to the customer at the time of deposit.
10. Use of the website
Access to the website is free of charge, does not require prior registration and is purely informative. Users undertake to make appropriate use of the site in accordance with good faith, applicable law and these terms, refraining from any conduct that may damage, overload or impair the website or the IT systems of Sescopinya or third parties.
11. Intellectual and industrial property
All contents of the website (texts, images, photographs, trademarks, logos, designs, source code and other elements) are the property of JOIERIA BARBA-ROSSA SL or of third parties who have authorised their use, and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law.
Users are only entitled to private, non-commercial use of these contents. Any reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or commercial exploitation requires the prior written authorisation of the rights holder.
12. Links to third-party sites
The website may contain links to third-party pages, over whose content, policies and availability Sescopinya exercises no control. Sescopinya assumes no liability for any damage or loss that may arise from accessing or using such external pages.
13. Liability
Sescopinya uses reasonable technical means to maintain proper operation of the website but does not guarantee its continuous and uninterrupted availability and is not liable for any damage arising from interruptions, viruses, unauthorised access or any other circumstances beyond its control.

16. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of the consumer’s domicile or, failing that, to those of the registered office of JOIERIA BARBA-ROSSA SL, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply.
